State of Alarm: What happens with the payment of seized alimony/compensatory pensions?
March 26, 2020

Many of our clients ask us if, during the State of Alarm, and given the suspension of judicial activity, they will continue to receive the alimony and/or compensatory pensions seized in enforcement proceedings deposited in the courts.

We want to reassure our clients.

The Ministry of Justice has issued an instruction, signed by the Secretary General of Innovation and Quality of Public Justice Service, in his capacity as Secretary General of the Administration of Justice, which ensures that the amounts deposited in the courts for the payment of wages, alimony, or compensation to crime victims will continue to be paid regularly during the state of alarm.

We wish you all good health and remember: follow the recommendations. Together we will overcome this!
